A little break

A little funny in light of my post yesterday, but, this morning I made the decision that I'm going to take a month long break from the internet...starting as soon as I'm done writing this post. I, of course, cannot leave without sharing some more Pinterest finds for you to enjoy though :)

I just thought this was SO sweet!

Official apology to my little blog

My poor blog. I do believe it feels lonely lately, and all because of one wittle word....Pinterest. Yep, about two weeks ago, I fell into jumped on the bandwagon. It's the perfect little place to store away ideas. The only problem is that it's very easy to keep it there and not write about it.....Unless of course you have a heart for sharing like me ;) So, without further ado, here some very pretty ideas I picked up via Pinterest.

Love the typewriter!

Paper Doily placemat/ name card.
Hanging mason jars. Perfect.

Pretty cupcakes with lace

Well, I'm afraid that's it for now! What was your favorite detail?

Turquoise, purple, white and yellow

I REALLY wish I could remember where I found these photos. I decided not long ago that I should give credit to whom credit is due, but I've looked through so many blogs lately, that I at the moment I don't remember where these came from. My apologies! If any of my readers know, would you please be so kind as to tell me? Thanks!

How many times have I seen an old shutter at an antique store? Many times, and now I know what to do with one!

A little bit of everything

I found the following pictures on OneWed. First off, if you decide to go to the site, please know that I have not looked through everything they have and therefore cannot give my official stamp of approval, but what I did find was quite nice :)

Like the doily themed cake, cupcakes, and cookies! So beautiful.

I debated whether to use the pictures to make up a couple of different posts, or just one. And as you can see, I chose the latter :)  Enjoy!

Such a lovely, lovely bouquet.

Simple and sweet

Everything about this photo is beautiful! So sweet.

Vintage Inspired Invitations

I came across a new blog today! It's called Oh So Beautiful Paper and they had so many wedding invitation ideas. Of course, I'm just looking for future reference, but if you are in the midst of looking for some ideas for right now, then I would advise you to look at the blog. There were quite a few DIY tutorials!

Simple and Sweet

I think those are programs in the antique tool carrier
Simple = Best (in my personal opinion)

Such a great idea! ....That root beer looks really good right now....

I would like to make some of these too.

So cozy for an evening wedding.

I always wondered if it would be strange to incorporate old family wedding photos in my wedding...Now I know it's not ;)
